The festive season is upon us once again, and it’s time for employers to take stock of the last year, and consider some of the challenges of 2022 and beyond. Steve will remind delegates of some of the issues that have perhaps been overlooked since the start of the pandemic, and will focus on topical items including employee wellbeing, simple workforce retention strategies, and the challenges (and benefits) of autonomous working. Another useful – and hopefully engaging – update from Howden’s well-known HR and Employee Benefits keynote speaker.

11:20am - Employment Law: “Just how flexible do employers need to be?

Moorcroft’s Matt Jenkin will look at the Government’s proposals to revise flexible working requests, and consider whether these changes will deliver the desired effect.  Matt will also look at other employment law developments including carers leave, new rules on employee tips, and the increases to the National Minimum Wage in 2022. An important session for all delegates.
